The light trap is a very simple invention. It is used to stop the visible light source. The light that falls inside it no longer comes out.
It is most often used in situations where we want to keep the supply of fresh air into the room, but we do not want the light to escape this way. This happens most often in the cultivation of exotic plants and cannabis at home, in adapted grow boxes.
The appropriate sequence of the labyrinth used in the light trap, and the interior painted black, cause that the light emitted by the lamps is absorbed 100%. This is related to the path that the light has to travel by reflecting off the black walls that effectively absorb its rays.
This solution does not block the air flow, which freely follows the path of the labyrinth, supplying fresh air to the inside of the grow box.
